There are many great reasons for learning to dance. You may want to meet new people or revitalize an existing relationship. Perhaps you need to lose some weight or improve your level of fitness. Maybe you’ve sat on the sofa watching Dancing With the Stars and thought how much fun that looks. If your wedding is approaching, our Wedding Dance Packages will provide you with unique dance routines for that most special of days. Whatever your reason, Storm Ballroom Dance Centre is the place to be. We offer a wide range of private dance lessons, group glasses and practice parties so you can learn, practice and show off your dance skills. In a private lesson, you’ll work closely with one of our professional dance instructors on progressing towards your personal dance goals. Group classes are held daily throughout the week. You’ll learn new dance steps and techniques while having an opportunity to meet and dance with our other students. Group classes are a great way to build upon your private lessons, learning from other instructors and trying out new dances. Practice parties allow our students to get together and dance with each other and our instructors in a relaxed environment. At a party you also have the opportunity to see our professional dancers perform. Take advantage of our Monthly Dance Pass and you can enjoy unlimited access to our group classes and practices parties. We also attend competitions throughout the year and train amateur and professional dancers. From time to time we bring in some of the biggest names in the dance world for special coaching lessons. Recent coaches have included 9-dance Champion Ilya Reyzin, Elena Grinenko, National and World Rhythm Champion with Tony Dovolani, and John Lindo, one of the greats in the world of West Coast Swing. No partner is required so you can come on your own, bring your partner or ask us about hosting a private group class if you’d like to bring all your friends. We take student dancers of all ages and abilities so don’t be shy! To make you feel comfortable, we offer a Free Introductory Lesson (new students only) during which we’ll introduce you to a few dances and teach you some basic steps. There’s no commitment but we’re pretty sure that once you start dancing, you’ll be hooked!
